photo031.jpgColville Fitness Center is rich with local culture and history.  It is located in the historic building that once housed Old Dominion Creamery at 101 South Oak Street in Colville, WA.  The building later housed Old Dominion Food Center and in 1979 the original fitness club was started and called The Body Clinic.  In 1981, the building underwent a major remodel and was transformed into Colville Racquetball and Athletic Club. The racquetball club catered mainly to racquetball and aerobics classes.  It had some weights and weight machines and a minimal of cardio equipment.  In August of 1992 Mike Jutila became the managing partner and began the transformation to what is now Colville Fitness Center.  Colville Fitness Center is now owned by Mike and his wife Shirley and is operated and managed by their daughter Kimberley LaDuke.  Mike literally competed and traveled all over the world as a competitive bodybuilder and worked out in gyms from the famed Gold's Gym in Venice, CA. to gyms in St. Petersburg and Moscow, Russia.  Because of Mike's vast experience in the fitness world, he was able to create a gym unlike any other.  Colville Fitness Center provides a truely unique fitness experience.  The rooms are all decorated in antique sports equipment and memorabilia that provide a workout experience and atmosphere like no other.
